First fruits

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped at our SEEDS stall at the Crouch End Festival. We made over £600! This will go towards our new club on the first Saturday of each month for learning disabled adults, their families and friends. The next will be Saturday, 4th July at St Peter in Chains School Hall, 2-4pm. Families and carers have told us that the weekends can be very hard – and people can be left feeling very unsupported. Please come and join in, the Saturday club is open to everyone and we hope that people will feel moved to help us. With music, dance, art, crafts and refreshments but most importantly friendship and fun! Sue Hessel, Kayte Brimacombe, Mary Halliday (0777 939 4424)

Pedalling Against Poverty

On Sunday, 7th June, Gianni and Max Gagnier, Mat Wright and Dillon Pilkington-Wright cycled 19 miles in Lee Valley to raise money for CAFOD. We’d be very grateful for any donations via www.justgiving.com/StPeterInChains or text SPET47 £2/£5/£10 to 70070. Thank you!
